I workout at home, but have been to a personal trainer in the past to make sure my form was right. I have dumbbells that I use, plus I have some DVD's and great books for reference.
Body for Life for Women has great pics to use as your guide as do Denise Austin's, Shrink Your Female
Fat Zones. I must say that since I started
strength training just a few months ago, it has given me amazing results!! It's great way to prevent bone loss, build better posture, lower blood pressure, burn more
calories and tone up!
Let us know how you do. Take some before pics for your own reference and take some measurements too.
Oh, don't get discouraged if the
weight loss slows down. Mine did, but I went from a size 10 to a 6 (so far) and I weigh 145!! Muscle weighs more thatn
fat, but takes up less space in your
body....YEAH!
