Adraeme is on a distinguished road
Exclamation -Struggling-

Okay. I'm new here. And I really need help with getting back on track.

I'm 17, 5'5", 136lbs. Small/Medium framed. Yes, I'm not overweight, in fact, I'm ideal, but I'd like to lose some of the access pounds I have. According to most weight loss calculators, I can be 115lbs and be healthy at the least, so I'm aiming for around 118lbs.

My problem is:

1. I live with my parents. They don't care that I'm on a diet, and don't want me to be - mostly because they see it as an inconveniance to them. They stock up on cakes, bagels and cookies everyday - all of the foods I love and am trying not to eat so much of! 95% of the time, I can't resist.

2. I go for about a week, eating really healthily and feeling great. Then, by about the sixth day, I'll -accidentaly- go a little over my calorie allowance and then all hell breaks loose. I can't stop eating. I eat until I feel bloated and horrid. This continues for about five days, until I've put the pounds back on again and havn't gotten anywhere.

What is wrong with me! What should I do?! Please give me as much advice as you can. I'd appreciate it.

that sounds like what a lot of people go thru who put themselves on a too restrictive calorie diet, instead of trying to eat within their healthy calorie range.

How many calories are you currently on a day?

Motivation is not something you find or lose, have or don't have. It is the product of how you see yourself in the world: active or passive, effective or ineffective, powerful or victimized, normal or pathological.
