| Hello, I must say that I feel for you guys. I know sometimes I give in to the urge to snack, and I always feel ashamed afterwards. There are several tricks I use to avoid this although they all take some sort of willpower on your part. First, place all the items that you binge on, chocolate is my weakness, and place it in the highest place imaginable. If you have to think about climbing up there to get it you're more likely to stop yourself. Also, when you're hungry drink a glass of water first. This actually does wonders if you can get into the habit; not only are you getting all your water for the day but you're also cutting down on how much you eat because most of the time your body is craving water. The third thing is if you get hungry go excerisize. This is probably the hardest one to get into the habit of because it does require will power. But about 90% of the time if I go out and excersize then I'm not hungry anymore, so it's easier. Also, try to avoid using food as an award, and remember that you can occasionally have things you like just try not to binge binge. It's okay to indulge, but stick to a pretty decent schedule. Anyway, I must say now that the only thing I have trouble with is restraunt food which is evil. Even regualar restraunt food, not fast food, it hard to stop eating, and I'd appreciate it if someone could give me some advice on that. |
