If you feel the need to take that stuff be careful and be sure to get all the info you can before you start. Unfortunately, I've never taken this stuff and so I've never really looked into it to give you any advice.
As for other advice, there are quite a few success stories and different methods of WL on this forum, so feel free to browse around. The simple advice is to get in 20-30 min of
cardio a day, and if time/equip/etc is available, a simple weight training program ... muscle goes a long way to reducing
fat (notice, i didn't say weight -- weight is a bad way to measure progress)
