| I hear you, but I think I have the opposite problem. I lose leading up to TOM, then maintain during, and gain after. It's usually about a week after TOM starts that I start to binge - chocolate mainly, sometimes cheese. However since starting here, I have manage to survive my first TOM, where I gained maybe 1lb. Hoping for the same results the 2nd time around.
As for feeling crappy and crampy, I try to get my sit ups in and that usually helps relieve any discomfort. Walking helps too. Really any form of exercise, whether you want to or not, helps relieve any discomfort.
