Based on the general info you gave about height, weight... you need about 2100-2500
calories to maintain where you are. To lose one
pound it takes 3500
calories. To lose one
pound per week... reduce you calorie intake by 300
calories per day and burn 200
calories per day in exercise. To lose two
pounds, that's double the
calories and work. I would certainly consider making better food choices... You are what you eat... the fuel (food) you put in is what your
body uses to regenerate itself. Try choosing fresh, whole foods and see how your
energy levels rocket!! Fast food, even healthy fast food has a lot of sodium... you may want to try packing your lunch or at the very least having a salad with low
fat toppings and a low
fat dressing. Switching to NO soda is best... but if you can at least start with
diet, that would be a step in the right direction. I wouldn't try to make drastic changes right away... pick a couple of things that you can improve on and when you master them... add a couple more healthy habits... pretty soon you'll have near perfect
nutrition habits and you'll love it!
