As for exercise at home, a couple of ideas. First - try finding workout shows on TV. Most of them are kind of lame, but it'll get you moving.
I also play Dance Dance Revolution - if you happen to have a playstation it's fairly cheap in comparison with a treadmill.
Hula hooping is a great workout. Jumping rope is too! Or take up a new skill like juggling, yoyo, learning to stand on your head - anything is better than sitting on the couch.
You can also do a lot of strength training at home. Use a gallon of water as a weight, or just do the exercises without weights. Lunges, crunches, stretching, all great stuff and easy to do without having to buy a thing.
Hope this helps! |
Thank you for your reply!! I've always wanted to play DDR, but I don't have a PS2 nor the money for one, so that's out. I'm going to do jump roping though, I always liked that and I haven't tripped myself yet so =D I had used those big cans of baked beans for
strength training, but after a week or so mom was looking for them...I had to give them back. lol.
2/3 me:: I think I'll try the stepping using the staires! Thanks for the advice! So sticking to 20grams didn't work today..I kinda went up to 40grams..eep! Well tomorrow is a brand new day and I'll have a brand new outlook so yay!!
