Cravings-gone!

Wow, I just got back from Panera bread where I got a not that unhealthy meal, but since lately I have been eating things that are so light and healthy, eating a sandwich (portabella and mozerella) and black bean soup made me feel incredibly full and lethargic. And I dont like it!! lol. I think this is a turning point where I am seeing that my body has learned to like the healthier foods and I am seeing how eating unhealthily makes me feel. I also decided to have a cookie since I havent eaten a real sweet in about a month. It was weird to taste real sugar again. It wasnt as good as it used to be. It was almost too sweet- this is amazing to someone who used to never think something could be too sweet. I consider my being able to get over my addiction to sweets my major accomplishment, even more so than losing 30lbs. My body feels gross now, like its harder to just move, my arms feel heavy, I am tired and unfocused. But this is great because I think I have gotten to the point where I truly wont be tempted by these things anymore. I'm not saying I will never have something sweet again, but the fact that I know my body reacts the way it does to sugar now will help me resist temptation most of the time.

I just wanted to share my excitement over this lol. Even though right now I feel like crap (tired, lethargic, etc..) It is awesome to know how much of a difference eating healthy is making.
