Rep Power: 0 | | | Hello.. I'm new, and I have a diet plan. =) Hello, my name is Nicole. I'm sixteen, and I joined this forum to give and receive feedback regarding weight loss.
I recently started a weight loss plan (started it about 4 days ago) in which I don't eat after 6 oclock (I sleep around 12-1) and eat a little over 500 calories per day. Also, I've been running at least 4 miles a day (actually ran 8 yesterday ) and am going to prepare for track/cross country next year.
Any recommendations for my diet? I appreciate feedback =) |

Start reading the stickied threads...
1. not eating after 6 is a myth and won't help you with fat loss. it's total calories int he day -- period.
2. 500 ish calories a day is insanely low for a person your age - especially given the amount of exercise you're doing.
What are your current stats?
and please read the stickied threads - pronto

Particularly if you are doing so much running. What is your body using for fuel? When you don't eat enough calories, you don't consume enough energy to sustain your activities. Your body goes into "survival mode" in which it thinks it is being starved and it starts holding on to every bit of energy you do give it. Might want to look into this a little more.
Good luck with the running. Sounds like you are doing great on that end!

Rep Power: 0 | | | My current stats is 5'2 and 118 pounds. I have like... No muscle though.
I don't eat after 6 so that my body has a chance to burn calories, and so that I don't eat over 1000 calories (I know it's a small amount; by no means am I anorexic or bulimic) especially so close to my bedtime. I also eat healthy, like salad.
I really want to lose weight though (in fat) and perhaps gain muscle. By running 6 miles per day, would I be able to lose 5 pounds of fat in a week? |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Good luck with your diet. I find eating smaller meals more often helps.
