Newbie needs support

Hey,
I'm new to the site and I wanted to get some feedback/answers.

I want to get on a regular schedule of excersizing. Here is my plan...

every other day
-stretch a bit (2 minutes)
-run 30 minutes
-stretch a lot (10 minutes)
-handstands/flips/dancing (20+ minutes)

every other day (the other day)
-stretch a ton (20 minutes)
-"stomach complex" (basically an all over abs, back, and obliques workout which takes about 10-15 minutes)
-50 lunges
-kicks/jumps/leaps (10 minutes)

2x a week
-run stairs (10-20 minutes)

What do you think? I am in pretty good shape as it is, and I used to be a gymnast. I feel like I would be able to keep up this routine, and I think that I should also give myself at least one day a week to rest, maybe 2 on a bad week.

So here are my questions regarding excersize.
-Does anybody have any expertise on "muscle confusion" and how that works?
-My problem areas are my lower stomach, my thighs, and my butt. I actually have fat all over, but those are the worst places. I want to become more toned and less "thick." Do you know of any good excersizes?
-I weigh 135 and I'm 5'3". I want to weigh 110 and be in good shape- how does this regiment add up?

ps. I have had no luck losing weight in the past with a similar routine (actually way way way more extreme) I did lose weight, though, through diet alone. I want to combine the two this time and see where it takes me. hopefully away from the way I feel about my body right now.

Thanks for listening
-Brandy

muscle confusion is constantly changing up the exercises that you do for that muscle. Muscle eventually adapts to what you are doing and actually become more effectient and expend less energy for a certain movement. But if i keep changing up what i do, then the muscle has no choice but to become more balanced and functional.
It sounds as if you would really enjoy a pilates class, or doing pilates at home.
