Starting a program for summer weight loss

Hey everyone I'm a 24 year old male and I'm 5'10" and currently weigh 230 lbs. I thought if I kept track in here it would keep me motivated. Right now I'm about 10lbs heavier than I've ever been which was about 4 years ago. I was about 220lbs then and started dieting and exercising and got myself down to around 190lbs. I kept my weight steady between 185-195 for the next 3 years until last year when I got mono and was down to around 170. A month or so after my mono was gone I was back around my normal weight at May of last year. By the end of summer I was around 200lbs and within the last year I put on another 30.

So today starts the diet and exercise to shed this unwanted weight. My goal is to get back to ~180-185. I just got back from walking/jogging 2miles and also lifted weights tonight for about 20 minutes. I am hoping to jog and lift 4 days per week. I have also started keeping track of what I eat at fitday. My goal is to keep my calories under 2000 per day. I guess that is all for now and I will keep updating as I progress.
