i will agree with xorie, i have tried many "official" type weightloss programmes - w/watchers,atkins etc and i have started to lose weight (in some cases), lost motivation/got bored, gone on a never ending binge and ended up heavier than ever.
i have done it this time mainly on my own, with the encouragement of my gp`s surgery and motivation mainly from here. just counted the
calories and upped my activity level. once the
pounds start disappearing, you lose inches and dress size/s, this will encourage you even more. great feeling to be able to go into a "normal" sizes clothes shop (after years of limited choice outsize shopping) and buy something. slim
