A late welcome to the forum. Yeah, keep healthy foods on hand so you don't fall prey to high calorie ones like brownies.
I also drink two litres a day of unsweetened ice tea (diluted black and green and lemon tea). It gives me the satisfaction of putting something in my mouth after breakfast and lunch and definitely saves me excess
calories during the day.
Just keep doing what you're doing. I found the first two months the hardest emotionally because you're waiting for something to happen and you're filled with angst wondering if what you're doing is working.
