| Hi and welcome I am a newbie also and like you I have tried this again and again. It's like you say we need to be passionate about it and realize it is a life long journey, we will have good days and bad.
I would like to lose at least 100lbs but my first goal is to get down to 200lbs. I will worry about the rest then when I get there. I try not to think about the entire amount I need to loose but focus on every pound, I mean hey at least I'm going down on the scale instead of up right!
Anyway just wanted to encourage you and tell you that youre not alone and we can do this together!
