Setting the scene before the day began I was told by husband that I needed to go to Tescos Tuesday as things needed to be bought and he wanted me in the house from 10 a.m. onwards Wednesday to take a delivery for him. Also continuous heavy rain was forecast. Sensible people decided not to go out!
It was torrential rain starting overnight and kept up all day. I set out about 9 a.m. walked in the rain until my
yoga class at 11.30 did
yoga from 11.30 until 1 p.m. (in wet clothes) and then had to walk to Tescos in the rain and then home about 2.30 p.m. in the rain. The road outside was one giant puddle. I wore my storm jacket but was soaked to the skin and still needed to change into dry clothes the minute I got home.
At 3.30p.m. I went out in the heavy rain again. I walked for about an hour and got soaked to the skin again. Again I had to change when I got home.
At 5.30 p.m. husband came home so we went out walking again.
I am now having to fit in an extra load of washing / drying on Wednesday to deal with all the clothes that we went through today.
Husband had already caught cold so we have both started taking Echinacea for a few days (I always catch these things from him and I sneezed before the end of the day). I will also have honey in my
diet too.
Oh and on top of everything I have to monitor my toilet habits as I have become inclined to constipation hence the excessive amounts of raisins. I dont like taking laxatives even though my doctor has told me that it is sensible when the occasion arises I am nervous of developing bulimia. If I was counting
calories the honey and raisins would be adding up here.
