I totally empathize. My story is almost the same. My doctor put me on Meridia which helped me to lose 60
pounds. What i also found out was that the stimulant helped me to focus and feel better. It was like that little voice in my head that told me I was
fat just shut off. I didn't think about food all the time. Well, my insurance stopped paying for it. I ended up being diagnosed with ADD and they put me on Dexadrine and I am having the same resluts that I had with the Meridia. Just be careful though because it is a stimulant and you must avoid caffeine and keep track of your moods. My dose was too high and I became really irritable and detached. I'm good to go now and have lost 80
