If you eat after a hard workout I would suggest a power shake...They are packed with protein to help your muscle recover as well as provide the carbs you need for energy to continue with your day. What is also good afterwards is lean protein like baked chicken, tuna, turkey...ect with salad or veggies.....it is complexed and makes your body work to burn it off and use what it needs to recover.
