This has been discussed here a couple times before, but if you don't feel like searching, the gist of it is: "Do what you feel comfortable with"
If you don't eat before your workouts, and it makes you feel crappy and hypoglycemic, throw in a meal beforehand. Maybe not a 6 egg with garlic and onions and hot sauce meal, but something that'll give you enough
energy to get through the workout.
If you try eating beforehand, and you don't like it 'cause it makes your stomach crampy / gurgly, then either try different foods, or switch your workout time to a different hour, where you can have eaten something long beforehand, and not go in completely empty.
