If you do not like exercise but like walking - it is perfectly possible to lose weight with walking as the only or main exercise.
I walk a lot - but lost a lot of weight when I was doing no other exercise.
You can weigh as often or as rarely as you like. Everyone can judge best what is right for them. Many people say that you should only weigh once a week - but I would be very unhappy if I had to do that. I am much happier weighing every day. We are all different.
You ask about counting
calories for fruit. Really I suppose it depends on how strictly you want to count
calories. I dont count
calories at all. I am however calorie aware and certainly try to avoid foods that I know are high calorie.
Some fruits are fairly high in
calories - e.g. banana, avacado - so I suppose if you didnt count them and really liked some high calorie fruit you could be eating more
calories than you thought.
I personally prefer to try and go for a
diet that I believe is balanced and moderate.
There are lots of sticky threads about the place on things like
calories and
nutrition. A lot of people set up fitday accounts for counting
calories.
