Hello ~ 50 & Fat....Now it's time to get serious

I am 50 years old, I am a grandmother of a baby boy 8 weeks old. I have two children and a husband of 30 years. When we got married I weighed 120 pounds and now I weigh double that amount. I have been overweight for about 20 years. I don't have any health problems related to obesity but I know it's just a matter of time and my knees feel like they are getting tired of carrying the weight. I appreciate being allowed to join the group. I'm looking forward to getting to know you. Thanks, Joanna

P.S. How do I get my ticklerfactory scale to show up?
