Day 3!

Morning,

Today I did Day 3 of P90x (Arms/shoulders) and have made some rather interesting realizations.

One, this is a great workout if you enjoy following along on the TV. All of the exercises, of course, could be done by yourself at the gym or home....but if you want a structured plan of action, it's rather super. For me, what I like is the way there's 10 minutes of stretching/warming up in the beginner (bad me doesn't take enough time to do that, but I simply have to if I want to continue the workout).

And two, it's a great way to ensure you get weight training and cardio into your day. I now get up at 4am to do my workout, and then after the kids are in school, can go to the gym with my husband for cardio/treadmilling. Of course, that can be applied to generic home-workouts as well.

So far, I'm happy with it - 'twill be interesting to see how I'll manage as the days go by.

Enjoy,

Barbara
