Hi Ali.smedley! So glad you could join us I totally agree with you that getting out of the 200 lb range is like a new beginning. I am not there yet or even close, but I'll be so happy when it happens!! And hey, I don't think we can resist but to feel different, the 100's range is Onederland after all I am like soooo excited that you are a mere 5 pounds away from being out of the 200's. We can throw our first official ....
ONEderland thread party

What a way to start the new year!!! You've come a long way my friend!! And your goal of 150 is sooo do-able. I am hoping to get out of the 200's this year, 75lbs to go and I think I can do it to...we both can!! We all can...and we will

Hi Summerbaby! Can you please give me a moment whilst I retrieve my eyes from the floor...your youngest is SEVENTEEN!!! OMG If that avatar is your picture...my stars you are radiant!! And you think I rock? I am merely strumming one string on an acoustic guitar compared to you (Thanks for saying I rock by the way, it's one of my favorite compliments) 10 pounds from the beginning of the year is totally cool. I think the weight gain is one of two things, 1) TOM is coming for a visit or 2) water retention. It could be that you either increased your sodium intake or decreased your water intake. If you lower your sodium and increase your water intake, those pounds will come off like nothing! I'm not a certified expert on weight loss, but believe me I am a master when it comes to scale addiction and weight manipulation But I'm being good this year o:-) I loooove goldfish crackers by the way, especially the pizza ones...I think I'll let that be my cheat food next weekend (just kidding)

Well everybody I am planning on starting exercise this week, so I started stretching today. I absolutely love stretching!! I have never done yoga before, but I'm thinking about trying it. Has anyone else ever tried it? If so, can you tell me what it's like? I mean, do you have to focus on the concept of the rising sun and the oneness of the earth's wind with your ankle behind your neck or do you just count while in pain like regular stretching? I have seen those oxygen exercise things too, where stretching is combined with breathing techniques to burn fat. I wonder if it really works...
