| The beans were good. I actually boiled a whole bag of beans and threw them in the fridge and then I will eat a cup a day with my dinner.
Last night I threw the beans in the pot with the chicken, greenbeans and the spices and it was sort of like a goulash(sp?).
I actually make this chili that has black beans, northern beand and kidney beans that I really like to. I might have to make that over the weekend.
I did some research on the web and with me doing south beach phase 1 right now alot of the fiber foods has many carbs also. So I had to pick 5-6 fibers which had low carbs so then it would not throw everything out of wack. I am only going to be on phase 1 until the end of February and then I will slide into phase 2 which then includes more fruits and such so I will have more of a selection of fibers to choose from. |
