Mine is a long story but here's the shorter version. Last August, I moved 12 hrs away from my family and fiance to go to school. My fiance set up a treasure hunt for me in my new home that included riddles, hidden clues, invisible messages etc. I am HORRIBLE at all of these things, not to mention that I get frustrated really quickly. He had it all timed so that I would finish FOUR months later (yup it was that complicated!) around the time I would be heading home for X-mas. The clues had lead me to a key that he hid in my place when I first moved. Anyways, in early December he drove 12 hours to pick me up and booked a cabin in the mountains for us to stay at on the drive home. While we were at the cabin, he gave me the "treasure chest" that my key was able to unlock. Surprise, surprise...it had an engagement ring inside. I was completely caught off guard. This is what happens when you get engaged to an engineer!!
Can't wait to hear everyone else's stories!!

Oh, and more good news! We finally set a date. You Americans are going to love this...July 4, 2009. And no, our colors are not going to be red white and blue! *LOL*
