Hi Deep!

I completely understand what you mean by eating with your eyes, there's even a saying in my culture that means "Your eyes are bigger than your stomach" lol. I especially have times when I get very emotional and stuff myself with sweet and salty foods as if they would make me fell better. I do feel better at the time, but in the long run it really hurts me. What I'm doing to battle this issue is making sure that the foods I do have available to me aren't junk foods. For example, I make sure there isn't any soda pop around, cookies, chips, and anything else I know isn't very good for me. I also drink a lot of water throughout the day to keep myself hydrated and make me less likely to stuff myself. And if you can, when you're eating a meal, try to stop in the middle of it and rate how full you are. I know this sounds a bit weird but it helps me a bit lol. So rate it from 1-10, where you would want to be is 6-7 and 8-9 is when you're stuffing yourself. When you feel you are at 6-7, stop and know that you are full. I know that's confusing and I'm probably not the best at explaining this. The last thing that you could do is just make sure you eat at least 2 hours before you sleep. I've lost 10 pounds in the last 2 and a half weeks by not eating after 8, and plan to implement an exercise plan of some kind. Wow, I talk a lot, sorry!

Anyway, it is very nice to have you here! I'm new here as well and just joined today actually. Hope to hear more from you, Deep!
