Google the site and bbb for better business bureau and check to see if there are any complaints - but be aware that a lot of ecommerce sites aren't US or Canadian companies and aren't subject to the laws of the US or Canada... so check the return policy carefully and also check your credit card statement carefully for the current billing and future billing.
