I don't know how fit you and your boyfriend are, but I may have a higher metabolism because I have a lot of muscle mass due to 2 1/2 years of weightlifting. That may explain my higher weight loss.
On my cheat days I ate pretty well for breakfast (usually oatmeal). Then for dinner I would have something bad. One day I had brats, another day I had pizza. Basically I ate pretty well all day except for dinner which I ate some of my favorite foods. I also had a few sodas during those days and chocolate as well. So you can eat pretty bad and not worry about gaining. If you don't have a high metabolism I would still recommend going on a walk during those days.
