Tom is 100% correct - cellulite is just
fat like any other
fat that is in your
body. Yes, the way it forms gives it a certain appearance, but if you want to get rid of it, you need to get rid of the
fat.
You may be required to get to a very low
body fat percentage before the cellulite disappears, or you may not - everyone is different.
Many of the things that have been mentioned in this thread may help the
appearance of cellulite to be minimal, but if you want it to actually go away, you need to lower your
body fat percentage. As is always the case, the number on a scale is not as important as your level of
body fat. You can weigh very little and still have a higher level of
body fat than is healthy.
I wouldn't recommend that anyone runs out and becomes a
bodybuilder (unless they want to, of course), but have you ever seen a successful
bodybuilder with cellulite? No, because their
body fat percentage is so low that it's just not physically possible for that
body fat storage to still be there.
