I'm sure someone will disagree with me, but as long as you're eating healthy food to satisfaction and losing at a reasonable rate, I wouldn't worry about it. While I wouldn't encourage you to intentionally aim for a very low caloric intake, there's enough measurement error in that kind of thing that I'd go by rate of loss more than by calorie count. If you find yourself losing too fast (an average of 1% a week is fine; don't consider any very fast initial loss) by all means, increase your
calories. But I suspect your intake is fine.
