I recently got myself new scales because I thought my old ones were playing up, and I don't like them because they make me 4lbs heavier, so I use them as a way of callibrating my old scales. What I'm actually checking is how many lbs lost in total, so I figure that my new scales would have started me at 4lbs heavier and my total weight lost is still the same.
As for me, I weigh myself naked, first thing in the morning, after I've had a bowel movement. Sometimes it can take a glass of water to get that movement, but it can make a 1/2lb difference |
Thats actually what I'm doing with this scale....So i guess two scales can't be wrong..because I have another scale thats a little off (by 4lbs too), so we got this slightly expensive one...and I get on that one..then I get on the other one just to be sure...it really all does add up now that I think about it. Just kinda confusing to me..the whole weight movement...I wanna say I'm 249.60...but if weighed at any given time I'd be 252 - 253. I guess I'll just go with what Mal said...I'll stick to weighing myself only in the morning and document that weight.
