counting calories is not very hard when using a site such as fitday.com - and calorie counting is the surest way to loose weight. read the stickied threads (those authored by Steve are especially helpful i find) and find out how to calculate the calories needed to maintain weight, then minus off 15 - 20% of those calories and that is what you should ideally be eating to loose weight (about 1 - 2 pounds a week). the slow and steady loss of weight also helps you keep it off, and reduces the likelyness of saggy skin (esp. if you have a lot to loose). good luck to u and hope that helped
