I'm so old that I do consider 17- 21 year olds children unless they're living out on their own - they are children and weight loss surgery for a teenager is completely inappropriate.. I don't think it's right for a middle aged adult but for a doctor to even consider doing it for a teenager - that's pretty close to malpractice..
