| I also went to New-You and don't recognise this description of the place or the level of care. In the UK you are discharged a couple of hours post procedure and left to get on with it although nausea and stomach cramps are listed as side effects. In Prague I was an inpatient for a further 36 hours to ensure I was OK. All my medicines were supplied post discharge and I was told to phone and request more when needed. My room was shared with one other person and was cleaned twice a day.....try and get that in the UK. All the staff were caring and efficient. All the pre-procedure tests were thorough, ECG,thyroid function, helicobacter all electrolytes and enzymes along with blood sugar and total cholesterol. These test results are given to you to give to your GP.The follow-up is by e mailing in food and exercise charts or a free phone number. I admit yes the follow up blood test has to be requested at your GP but that is all.
Included in the price was an overnight stay in a flat off Wenceslas square in central Prague. The price was £2450 which includes the flights and the removal of the balloon 6 months later |
