Hmmmm...I would suggest the same thing. Maybe do all your
cardio on one day and your
weights on another.
For example on day one, do your warm up and then stretch and if you'd like to the 15 min of elliptical and then head for the track or track first then elliptical, then your cool down and stretches. You might be able to go a little further on the track or elliptical or do it at a higher intensity of you leave your strenght training for the next day. KWIM?
My routine is a little different since I like to run. I alternate between long runs on one day and intensity (more like bursts, tempo runs etc)/strength training on another... I don't do
weights alone because I need the milage.
