I feel that same sense of discouragement as well. I try not to look at the entire road ahead but just my weekly goals. It really helps. I also take comfort in looking at what I have accomplished so far. Considering that I have now lost 21 of the 85
pounds I need to lose, it is starting to seem reasonable that I could reach my
goal.
Did you say that 183 was a healthy weight for being 5'6"? I am 6'0" and according the CDC
BMI tables, my maximum weight should be 183.
