Losing Body Fat in Steam room?

I am in college and am a cross country and track runner. I weigh 158 and and 5'10... i just found out from dexa that i have 11.4% body fat.

We have a steam room and sauna at our school that i could use everyday. I was wondering if I could lose some body fat from being in the steam room for like 10 min. a day or if it just drains water weight? any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You are very lean as it is. Most serious athletes are as lean as you are. You really shouldn't try to get much leaner it is not healthy. Women who compete in body building contest (not pro level) get to ~ 6% and can only maintain for a few days. The sauna only will dehydrate you. But if you want to go out one night and look hot do it, but don't drink anything

it's really hard to lose any more weight, I'm at about 164lbs with 7% BF, I run about an hour to an hour and a half a day, and I maybe lose pound a week

Try lifting more weight and do less reps at the gym.

Another thing you could try is take a few days off. You might be over training which is bad too.

One other thing is you could Cut out carbs after 4pm and fruit after noon.

Hope some of this helps
