Bascially their LA bars are very similar to Luna Bars. So I started using those, just don't tell them they will insist they aren't the same thing. I started taking a multi-vitamin supplement and Omega-3. I didn't believe I needed the other things they try to sell. I still lost weight. |
I did the same and also found the Luna Bars to be very similar. I really liked the LA program, I found it to be very helpful in helping me learn how to eat balance, healthy meals. I did like the bars, especially the double fudge, they were not only fillling, but seemed to give me energy. I had to stop for financial reasons. If you choose not to go with the bars, they give you a program with an extra protein and starch(don't quote me on that). I also made a vegetable soup that helped me stay full.
The plan is a good one. Some are pushy about buying the bars, mine was very pushy, but I never bought them in bulk. Its worth a try, with or without the food products. It is a good program, imo.
Good Luck! I am going to try the program again on my own. I have 50 lbs. to lose, but really just want to feel good again (you know, less aches on the feet and knees, get my breath back, and look good).
