Hey all,
How much working out is too much?
I've started working out much harder than I was before and I'm doing a bit of
strength training now. Yesterday was my first day back at the
gym and I actually ended up doing two workout sessions in the day. First was 35 mins or so of
treadmill (walking and running) followed by about 30-40 mins of lower
body strength training. Then I came back with the boyfriend in the evening and did another 35 mins on a bike and 30-40 mins upper
body training.
My
body feels so tired today. Did I work out too hard? And when is a good time to rest? I'm so afraid of not distinguishing between tired and lazy well enough and slowing down on working out. I finally broke the weight barrier I was stuck at and started losing weight. I don't want to stop! But I don't want to drive myself to exhaustion.
Please help! Any tips, ideas, experiences... I'm open to just about anything.
