Rep Power: 0 | | | Question about Pee lol I wasnt sure where to post this, but I just have a quick question. I started dieting and excersizing about 5 days ago....and about 2 days in, and continuing today I just cant stop peeing. Its like at least every 20 minutes I have to go....is this normal? Im not drinking more water than I used to eithr...I was thinking, maybe its just all the gross stuff i used to eat being flushed out of me? Well, thanks for reading |

Rep Power: 15 | | | The color of your urine helps indicate if you are dehyrated. Urine that is a dark yellow indicates that you are extremly dehyrated and clear or light yellow urine indicates that that you are pretty normal.
And in my own experience, if you haven't increased your water intake, it doesn't sound normal. Do you notice any sigificant increase or decrease in pespiration? |

Rep Power: 10 | | a change in your diet and exercise plan could just mean that your body is flushing excess water you may have been holding prior to your change. Depending on how bad your previous diet was and how much you cleaned it up, there could be enough changes to warrant the body pissing (literally, lol) excess water away. Also, the addition of exercise is likely to increase your fluid intake, and you may not even realize it since youre doing it as a response to thirst and not forcing the extra consumption. Lastly, eating better foods may mean you are consuming more fluids through that means as well, which would also mean the need to flush more water out. Whole foods like fruits and vegetables and even fresh meat contain quite a bit more water than their processed counterparts (in most regards anyways, there are exceptions: damn devious manufacturers add water to some product to increase the weight and make it seem like you are getting more for your money. Processed ham is a good example of this, but i am getting off topic). stick to what you are doing, give your body another week or so to find a new balance, and see what happens then. If you feel any negative effects other than having to pee more often, see a doctor immediately. |

Rep Power: 10 | | | hi, i always find the first few days after i start a "diet", i pee for england, probably as cc mentioned cos of retention of fluid due to the type of foods you were eating eg salty, crappy. it seems to go back to normal after a while. just make sure you are drinking enough so your pee is the right colour and obviously any concerns see your gp. slim |

Rep Power: 13 | | If you've changed your diet, you might be eating a lot less salt, which causes us to retain water. Your body may be getting rid of water.
Keep drinking the water, if it keeps up, talk to your Doc.
