Rep Power: 657592 | | | This thread was a joke, for the most part. I have a very good grasp of my nutrition. Good enough that a fast for me isn't going to lead to a rebound weight gain. |

Next look for a suggested meal plan that has that number of calories a day. Planning your meals with the correct portions and calories is eaiser than trying to figure them out after. |

The weight loss angle is the same as fiber as it slows digestion, increases satiety, more food for so many calories, etc.
In terms of colonic health, it appears to be better than fiber as it promotes specific good fatty acids and also helps prevent some of the damage from food.
David Topping is one of the researchers out of Australia that looks into it a lot. My buddy has seen him present in the past and he does a pretty nice story around RS. If you want to know more about it, I'd suggest doing a search on his name. I know there's stuff out there.
The other cool thing about RS is that you can put it into normal foods (flour based) without makiing them taste like shit. | Just wondering if you happen to know if this is the same stuff they are using in Dreamfields pasta? They described something similar as a reason for saying their pasta only has so many digestible carbs, even though counts are higher on the box. Would be nice if it is and I have more info to support they have a legit product
