Rep Power: 0 | | | looking for an outsiders opinion.. hey.. this is the first time I've posted on anything like this but i've been dieting and exercising for about 6 months now. I'm 20 years old and started at 300 pounds 6'1" , i realized that i was wayyy over weight and needed to do something about it. I decided to change my diet and start exercising.. anyways back on track, i'm now down to about 242 pounds i try to eat really healthy.. every morning i eat about a cup dry cereal, and from lunch and dinner i usually have grilled chicken and salad with spinach, no dressing just greens and veggies.. i really don't take in too many calories every day, try to drink somewhere around a gallon of water a day. i work out 5-7 times a week i run 2-4 miles or try to do around 600-800 cals on the elliptical but either way i try to get a good work out in.. i haven't taken any weight loss supplements or anything like that, but i have been looking into starting to take one just for a little extra boost, i have looked into a lot of different things, but im not really sure what would be a good call... a few people have suggested alli, fenphedra, lipo 6, and hydroxycut hc... i lead a pretty active life and im about half way to my goal of 185 pounds and wouldn't mind trying something new... i'm just here looking for any advice from some people who have already been through all this before!
thanks! |

Rep Power: 15803 | | | what you have been doing so far is working. why turn to unhealthy pills that will just sabotage all of the great progress you have made so far? you shouldnt try to rush things and should aim for 1 - 2 lbs loss per week - anything higher may be unhealthy. my advice? look at the nutrition stickies, calculate how many calories you need to eat to keep loosing (re-calculate this every 10 pounds that you loose because as you get smaller your body burns less calories) and open up an account at fitday.com to keep track of what you eat. its FREE and HEALTHY! good luck and i do hope you consider my advice. PS if you want to ignore everything ive just said, at least try to avoid alli unless you want to fear anal leakage in every public place you go. |

Plus, they can wreck havoc with your heart, GI tract, etc. The most healthy and effective way to lose weight is through healthy eating and exercise. Plus, maintaining a healthy lifestyle will help you to keep the weight off. Amagheti’s suggestion of Fitday.com is a great one. Research shows that recording your food helps with weight loss and in keeping the weight off.
By the way, congratulations on losing 58 pounds! Best wishes on your continuing success with healthy weight control. |

Rep Power: 0 | | | If you are seriously considering pills I would have to recommend Proactol for its 100% natural and healthy fat binding methods that take out 28% of the fat from the food you eat by binding it and making it unabsorbable by the body.
You can find more info and links to it in my signature
