I'm definately not a professional. but in my oppinion like any other addiction you may need professional help. have you talked to your parents about it? they may need to get you some help maybe a phsyciatrist. i dont know how deep it goes. but there may be an underlying issue to your eating addiction. or maybe your just bored, maybe you need some hobbies to keep you busy(and active). what do you think? it's not as simple as getting the perfect answer and your problems are solved. you need to look at the root of the problem to figure out the solution.

I agree with MothterOf2, you should talk to your parents about your eating habits and tell them of your goals to want to change. I am sure that they will be more than willing to help. Of course we are here for support as-well but in the end it comes down to you.

I too was a heavy kidd and I understand what its like, but I promise that there is light at the end of the tunnel and that YOU can do this... but again it all comes down to you!

Welcome and don't be afraid to ask us questions about anything!

Thank you very much. I think i should have worded my post differently. I'm not literally addicted to food, I just love to eat, and I have trouble resisting
