Hello! I am looking for support to lose quite a lot of weight. I lose it quickly, then pile it on again.
I lost 5 stones on Cambridge and piled it back on over 3 years. Same with Cabbage Soup. I've decided to go about it a different way. I want to lose slowly and have no fad diet, just eat healthier and change the way I look at food.
Hubby has retired and the kids are off our hands. This last week I've cut out fat, bread, chocolate and biscuits. No picking in the kitchen and whatever I eat, I've made myself sit down at a table.
To kick start I made a big pot of chicken and leek soup and have had that through the day with at least 3 pints of water. At the evenng meal I've had what hubby has, but no sauces or gravy.
I've just weighed.. It's only Day 6 but I couldn't wait and I have lost 7 lbs.
Hope to get inspiration for the future on here. Happy New Year. Dolly
Thanks Gen, got my fingers crossed for about 4lbs this coming week. But realistically, I shall be pleased not to have gained. You look to be steaming along too. Glad there's another Brit on here

Hehe, there are other Brits on here, but not me! I'm an American invader who stole a Brit man from the Brit ladies and reside here to keep an eye on him.
I used to work in the USA and feel very at home with Americans. I'm back in the UK now, on the borders of England and Wales. I was a bit naughty yesterday, hubby found a tin of shortbread biscuits left over from Christmas... do I need to paint a picture? All I'll say is that today, I shall be very, very good!
