How Do I calculate calories burnt??

Each morning I go for a walk, which includes walking up hills, stairs and on the flat parts a bit of jogging. How can I calculate how many calories this particular exercise burns?? I know there are calculators all over the web, but funnily enough none have this particular style of exercise!!

Thanks!

Mandy

Hi

Hi there,1kg is about 7700calories, so You note down your weight early in the morning then note it daily and when you see a reduction of 1 kg you can easily calculate the calories burnt daily, see if you weigh 74 kgs on 1st day and then you weigh 73 kgs on 6th day then divide 7700/6=1283 calories burnt everyday Hope this helps you

=D try fitday.com it's a free online diet journal thing that allows you to record calories in your food and exercise. I've even found "uphill at 3.5mph carrying an object no more than 2.5 lbs" or even "household chores involving light carrying"..

am sure you can find any movement you want.
