Rep Power: 4 | | | Exercise HAS to be fun for me or I just don't do it (I'm a brat like that...lol)
I take taekwondo 3X per week
I'm starting a 1X per week taebo class starting in September
I love bouncing on my kids trampoline
I do the weight lifting portion of my workout on my total trainer and love it
I also do the P90X series, but not daily like I'm supposed to, more like 3X per week
I've also been spending time swimming w/ my kiddos and playing volleyball.
I think any exercise is good exercise just as long as you're moving. |

Rep Power: 8 | | Cool TH. Thanks for the reply.
But, I was kinda trying to encourage more of a 'brainstorm session' thing-o rather than a listing of peoples workout routines.
For example:
Do you have Dragonboat Racing where you live ?
Has anyone tried Pole Dancing Classes ?
Is anyone doing a Boot Camp course ....
that kind of thing.

Rep Power: 2 | | right seeing as im a personal trainer i feel i should throw some ideas in the mix here.
1. get a big rope and play tug of war with some friends, really tiring
2. get some scrap car tyres and hit the park, do over head throwing, tossing, jumping in and out, set challanges etc with friends.
3. play dodgeball, silly but dead fun and your always on your toes thinking whent he next balls coming, you dont realise the time flying.
4. if you got kids race them to different areas of the house, especially up and down stairs.
5. frisby in the park, dont just stand still and throw it, run after it
6. finding a bootcamp is great, plenty here in the uk
7. get a big pile of rocks and carry them from one area to another, pause, take them back again
8. go clubbing with the younguns and try keep up with the free for all dance moves.
few ideas for you, ben |

| This would be hilariously fun. We don't have any classes like this locally, but I know there are on line dvd's available for it (expensive though, I checked...lol) |

Rep Power: 72 | | I would love to learn to box - I mean really box, not take a cardio boxing class. I think that would be a lot of fun and something totally different.
I love to go kayaking - but I haven't been in forever. It's a really good workout and great for your arms and shoulders. |

Lots of fun when I break it out, and a wonderful workout.
I don't think I have any boot camps locally, and I am dubious about taking a belly dance class as a male (although that alone might make it worth the price of admission), so most of my fun is stuff like odd visits to a pool, jumprope intervals, fun runs, bike rides, etc. |

Rep Power: 72 | | Heheh. My gym up north has a belly dance class on Thursdays. The classroom is to the left of the free weight area and there's a big window. It's always fun to watch the guys in the weight area try to workout while craning their heads to the left for the 90 minutes the class goes on.
I wish I had a place to hang a heavy bag. My guy is a karate instructor and he's taught me a bit about how to hit properly and have good form, but I don't have any where to practice. |

I vote - DO IT !
I reckon you'd start a new trend.
I'd sell my soul to have my man Belly Dance for me.
I'd also like to do some legit boxing training.
Partly for exercise and partly so I'd know how to rip shit up if it came to it. hehehe!

Rep Power: 2 | | Taw Kwon Do is really good.. too bad i hurt my knee joint! belly dancing is great fun for exercise, having to tense the stomach constantly.
erm...
well, just walking everywhere like to shops or something, walking around markets..
carrying all your shopping in a basket instead of using a trolley concentrating on the stomach..
going up and down stairs faster everytime is good for living on top floors!
random dancing around to favourite music when spring cleaning is fun..
my mum and i used to dance around for exercise to the radio, or using 80's/90's pop cds just making things up. cheesier the better.
also, cheesy exercise videos. 20-30 minute pilate videos feel good.
clubbing is good if that's what you're into, definitely ebm or DnB which just never ends!
having a chat in the park walking around instead of sitting in a cafe
short sight-seeing walks whether in cities or in the country..
dancing at gigs
swimming with someone else
mixing things by hand instead of a blender
DIY painting fences and things.. helping out the landlord with projects (if theyre as informal as mine)
playing musical instruments |

I'd sell my soul to have my man Belly Dance for me. | Heh, I wasn't thinking of dancing for women, but maybe that faulty thinking is why I don't have a woman to belly dance for anyways.
I think I'd be all male about it, and take the classes or just do a home video but when people remarked on my abs and asked what I did I'd be all like "I run 12 miles a day and do 1,000 situps, rawr!!" Quote:

How so ? you might ask .... Well, simply because it takes nuts to move outside the square and do something completely random. And chicks love guys who stand apart from the crowd. Well ... decent chicks anyway! They're the only ones you want pounding down your door.
Chef - might be an idea man.
