25.5% body fat

hey there...

I am a newcomer to this forum...

I actually have 25.6% body fat according to BMI...my height is 6.6 inch and i weight 163 pounds...due i look fine but i have a big belly and my boobs are kinda out (femini) that makes me embaressed...

as i went through their weight chart, i should weight 148 pounds....

I need some advices in the type of exercise in order just to lose my body fat not the the muscle, so can get rid of my belly fat and be able to wear my tight shirts again.... :P

I would appreciate any help in advance...thanks

Okay, 148 pounds on a 6'6" would look emaciated, in my opinion.

I'd say what you want to do is start resistance training. Build up some muscle and you will start looking good and fill out those tight shirts the way you want to.

I don't recommend going by BMI for body fat, or for anything else for that matter.
Instead go by how you feel and how you look, and how your clothes fit. Don't let a table tell you how much you should weigh.

But yes, for exercise I heartily recommend resistance training. Go do some squats, pullups, bench presses, that sort of thing.

its not necessary to do cardio vascular exercise, if the weight training challenges your heart rate etc then its all good. i will second cord, i would set up a good circuit training program or go to a gym with one where you can join in. pick 5 exercises and do each exercise for 30 seconds then rest for a minute and then go again. if that doesn't burn some serious fat and gain you a bit on muscle then ill eat my shoes!
