When you log your food - dont just check that your
calories make sense...
Also check that the nutrients all are hitting the right targets.
I was delayed in reaching
goal weight because - despite my
calories all being on target - my sodium levels had gone up because I had taken to eating low calorie home made blended vegetable soup without realising the sodium content of the stock cubes.
More recently - in maintenance I have seen my weight drift slightly upwards - and a nutritional analysis high-lighted the fact that although I continue to hit the rather low protein RDA my protein levels had lowered from where they had been and where I prefer them to be...
