Rep Power: 72 | | I don't recommend any pills. There is no pill that will help you lose weight or be any kind of magic bullet, as much as the marketers want you to believe there is.
As far as supplements, it never hurts to take a multivitamin and a couple of fish oil capsules each day ... but that's about it. |

Rep Power: 87 | | I agree with Kara! Pills are well known for NOT helping with weight loss. A healthy diet and exercise routine is the only way to go. |

I think everyone has choice: either to suffer on diet alone or to take pills as well. For example there are appetite suppressants, which help to reduce appetite for those who is unable to control it. |

1) If you 'suffer' on a diet, you're doing it wrong to start with.
2) If you're eating healthy, nutritious food (as you should) you won't need appetite suppressants because you won't be hungry.
3) Most of those pills, including most appetite suppressants, don't actually have any proven effect on your weight loss, or appetite.
4) Most of those pills DO have side effects which can endanger your health though.
5) Taking the pills and imagining that they work might get you a positive influence on your weight loss for a while, but it will not last forever. In addition, they don't teach you anything about portion control or healthy eating in general, so even IF they actually worked, as soon as you stop taking them you'd pile the pounds back on. So unless you're willing to take (and pay for) those things for the rest of your life, just stay away from them. |

Rep Power: 0 | | I've been taking 2daydiet-japanlingzhi(.net) since August 09 and have lost 35lbs. I like them because they are natural, give NO side effects, suppress my appetite, busts my metabolism and gives me energy. Many of my friends and family are also taking them with positive results.

Rep Power: 0 | | Remember there are many weight loss supplements on the market that are not approved by the FDA. It is important to make your choice as to a weight loss supplement by doing your due diligence before you make your purchase. |

The fastest way to lose weight is healthy food and exercise. I would look into Gillian Mckeiths plan as it not only helps lose weight but it is very beneficial for your health. It's also a lifestyle change rather than a diet.
Lots of cardio will do the trick too. I don't count calories but the lesser calories you eat, and the more you burn off... the more you lose weight. Just make sure you dont feel hungry, or you could go into energy saving mode. The good thing about eating healthy is that most foods are amazingly good for you and you can eat in abundance whilst having the benefits of losing the weight. |

Rep Power: 0 | | I used to take pills(caffeine type ; )) all the time, specially when I was in the military.
At first they helped out alot, but after a week or two my body would get used to them and I found my self taking them just to have 'normal' energy lvls.
Stick with just diet and exercise, your body will start producing all the energy you need |

Rep Power: 0 | | | Well, I don't really count these as "supplements," but fiber and water. Preferably fiber from natural food sources. |

I take green tea pills since I really don't like to drink the tea itself, would you say this is a waste? I'm getting about 800mg's a day, it also has some natural cafffeine and some essential vitality blend in it .
I also take the amino acid L-Carnitine , what your take on this. I was told usually to take this on a empty stomach or before a workout.
Also what do you guys and gals think of Chromium Picolinate and Tonalin CLA? |

Rep Power: 72 | | I'll be honest - I *personally* think taking all those supplements is a waste of money. If you're eating a healthy balanced diet, then you shouldn't need them.
At the most, a multi vitamin and maybe some fish oil capsules, if you're not getting enough healthy fats in your diet ...
But the rest? Marketing hype. Again, IMO. |

I take the fish oil and a multi vitamin now , and the green tea pills (which I really don't think I need and probably wont be buying again.) Thanks again. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
