Rep Power: 13 | | | oh so i just thought about this as motivation this morning...
not sure why I'm posting it in your thread, but other peoples motivating comments made me think of it.
So every morning, on a diet or not, working out or not, i spend a good 30 minutes on my hair and makeup. I will rarely leave the house without doing both. Only to the store, and even then i NEVER go out without ANY makeup.
So i thought about this today...I'm willing to spend a half hour a day, every day of my life...(and thats at least a half hour, if i curl my hair and do my makeup for going out its an hour and a half!!!), but if im willing to do that everyday, to make my face look presentable for the day. I should be willing to dedicate just as much time to make my body look presentable.
So I'm just going to start thinking like that everyday. Wakeup, do my makeup, do my hair, do my body, and go!
haha.

Rep Power: 13 | | | oh. and by "do my body" i meant working out. like hitting the treadmill for a half hour.

Rep Power: 8 | | | It was so nice to wake up this morning to read these posts. I was so upset with the pictures last night that my husband threatened to take them off the site and delete them all from the computer. I need to know where I'm starting from, though. Even if it makes me want to curl up in a little ball in a hole somewhere.
You know, snobunny, that is such a great point that you made! I do other things to take care of myself. One of my biggest indulgences is taking an hour+ bath. I do spend plenty of time and money on my hair and makeup. (not in the bathing suit pics though...no makeup and I didn't do my hair!) If I can spend time and money on making myself smell good and feel soft with bath products and lotions and perfumes, why wouldn't I do the same for the way my body LOOKS? It's not something I ever thought of before, but what a great motivator for exercise!

Its all up to what you are willing to sacrifice and how hard you are willing to work and train.
best of luck and as hard as the before shots are to see you need them. I needed them too.
