Newbie! Please help! Here's my B4 pics

Hi every1,

So here's my b4 pics. Iv been brave and even shown my flesh for some.
So i now weigh 159lbs.
This time last year i weighed 140lbs and was thrilled with myself as i weighed 182lbs 2-3 years ago. I joined slimming world and that was what lost me my weight . The support from there was brill, only thing is i am now too skint to even afford those classes and the lbs have slowly crept back on (well it wasnt really slow, id say just over xmas if im honest). I checked this site out & the support and motivation you all give each other is brill and so here i am. Please help me, i need all the advice and help i can get as i am now really down about how i have let myself go. I really want to loose the weight i have put on and hopefully more. Cant wait to get to know you all.

PS. My boyfriend was messin around puttin a sheet of paper behind me. lol! & im in the spare room so please excuse the mess (not had house long).

wow, you and i are very similar in size/shape. I've got that same tummy thing going on, where you can see some definition just begging to get through! LOL

How much do you weigh and what's your goal weight? perhaps we could set milestones together?!

how tall are you?

i guess i outweigh you significantly, but we can still have milestones together!

Milestones 2geva! What a great idea
I thought we were kinda similar before i posted (your thread was what gave me the gutts to post my pics, Thanks)
My heights is 5ft 3inch, im quite short. You look tall, whats yours?
What have you been doing to help you loose weight, I ain't been doin much exercise as i now work from home, i keep saying i'll take the dogs on a walk but soon as i see the rubbish weather i dont bother. I know its Tight on the dogs but they get a good run in the garden as it is a good size. I also bought the Jordan workout dvd 2week's ago. Done it 3 times now! Im gonna make sure i do it every other day tho from now on! I will start eating better to.
Any tips?

I'm 5'3" also! I've been eating low low carbs. I'll cheat once a week and have a BLT with big old slices of wheat bread. but for the most part during the week i'll eat salads/chicken/tuna..etc.

As far as working out, i joined a gym last august, and i used it for the first few weeks then never went again, but i never cancelled my membership, so i just started going there again, gone twice now. Probably going again tonight. I go on the treadmill for 30 minutes to an hour. It goes by WAY WAY faster if you mix up the treadmill settings. before I'd sit steady at 3.5 MPH for an hour and it took FOREVER. Now i'll set it at 3 for five minutes, then increase the incline for five, then lower it and go faster, then jog for a minute. I'm probably going again tonight.

THen after the treadmill i usually do this weight machine circuit they have set up with leg/arm exercises.

It's had to find time to go to the gym, i think im going to order some of the turbo jam tapes and try that at home.

These are some pictures of me before (my husband, michael is in some of them). My weight in this picture was 296.5. Ugh...I am so disgusted by these!




This is by ''in between picture." My husband took it when I wasn't expecting it...that's why I look kinda pissed . My weight in this picture is 273...after losing 23.5 pounds. I still don't see the difference, but other people say they can see the differences already.

I'v been doin the low carb thing, well sort of, iv been havin a smoothie for breakfast, Then at dinner i have had carbs/no carbs giving me the option, then for tea i have been havin fish/chicken with salad or green veg. Just snackin on fruit. Also not eatin after 7pm. I did tis the other week and lost 5lbs then went out drinkin, eat loads the next day (when i drink i always get a massive appetite the next day) then started eatin rubbish again. This is my fresh start

I would like to loose as much as i can for the last week in june as i go on holiday then. I'll aim for 10 pounds with you for the 13 july but i would love it if i got their in time 4 my hols. One step at a time tho, i always try 2 run b4 i can walk. Lol. This'll be fun

I've read a ton of articles that say that the low carb/low calorie diets are interchangeable, and there's no point in doing both low carb AND low cal at the same time.

but anyway, my calories are in check anyway, because everything i eat is pretty much healthy. lean meat, fish and veggies.

My calories are in check! when i eat well i really do eat well (fish, salad,fruit & veg...) i mentioned earlier i have lost the weight b4, i just pigged out over xmas thinking id be ok! easy on easy off, How wrong! lol).

Hi girls, I'm right there with you. I'm at 169 right now and my goal is 125, what are your guy's goal weights? I'm 5'4". I'm calorie counting, not watching carbs really, just staying at 1500 calories a day and making good food choices. With a 17 month old and a 3 week old, I can't set too many eating restrictions up for myself or I'm just asking to fail.

I have some mid-goals too. I want to be about 160 by the end of June for a Vegas trip and I want to be at least 155 when I go back to work a month afer that.

I want to lose about 3-5 pounds a month but I think the baby weight will drop off a little faster for the first few months so that's why my goals are a little higher.
